Paramount+, a global entertainment leader, sought to launch its streaming service internationally. This required creating a hig -performing FP&A function to forecast revenue and track KPIs critical to the service's success.

Objective

The CFO needed an interim expert with streaming industry experience to quickly establish a best-in-class FP&A framework aligned with company culture and strategy. Given our decade long partnership with Paramount, we were exclusively engaged for this critical task.

Phase 1: Initial Placement

We identified an industry experienced candidate to build the FP&A foundation, define functional requirements, and create a team to support financial strategy.

Result: The candidate successfully established the FP&A framework and was retained for two years, making a significant impact during this critical growth phase.

Phase 2: FP&A Team Expansion

Following the initial success, Paramount+ tasked us with recruiting three senior FP&A Directors to lead key cost centres and build their own teams.

Challenge: Balancing technical skills with cultural fit to ensure collaboration with senior leadership.

Outcome: All Directors successfully built cohesive teams, driving financial operations across divisions. Nearly two years later, most interim hires remain in place, contributing to ongoing success.
