Client Overview

Our client is a high growth consumer products scaleup with a strong reputation for supplying premium products to UK consumers.

The Challenge

After over two months of unsuccessful hiring efforts - via internal talent teams and multiple agencies - the company was struggling to find the right Group Reporting Manager. The urgency had increased as the high performing incumbent, who had been with the business for six years, was relocating internationally. These were big shoes to fill.

The brief was clear but challenging: find an ACA qualified Group Reporting Manager with at least five years of post qualification experience, ideally with a background in a larger corporate environment who had since transitioned into an SME. Sector experience in D2C or e-commerce was also essential. Internal salary bandings were fixed and had not kept up to date with market movement, adding another layer of complexity.
