Overview

Our client, a leading marketing services network, operates across media, creative, influence, technology, and data. We partnered with their UK CEO and HR Director to identify a CFO who would join the Executive Team, collaborating with senior leaders to drive strategy and decision making at the highest level.

The role of UK CFO was pivotal—requiring holistic leadership of the finance function, encompassing both day to day operations and long term growth through strategic acquisitions. This strategic and commercial position also involved leading commercial deal structuring and negotiation across various markets while managing a substantial finance team.

The Challenge

The client sought an exceptional CFO with:

  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and retain high performing, execution oriented teams.
  • The personality and cultural fit to partner with a high achieving, entrepreneurial CEO within a collaborative, fast paced environment.

The Approach

Leveraging over 15 years of expertise in the marketing services sector, we delivered a targeted longlist within two weeks. This list comprised individuals who were both active and passive in the job market, ensuring confidentiality through the use of NDAs.

Three weeks into the process, we presented a shortlist of seven candidates who met the role’s key competencies. All seven progressed to the first stage of interviews, with three advancing to the final stages.
