Our Leaders in Talent & People event brought together a highly experienced panel of experts from the tech, media and consumer sectors. Their discussion was focused on how businesses are managing the challenges of hiring and retaining talent in a competitive market, responding to the changing priorities of their workforce in a post-covid world and using initiatives and programmes to achieve greater diversity, promote inclusivity and improve equity of opportunity.
Nicky has 19 years’ experience within employee relations, talent acquisition and management, employee engagement, HR transformation, ATS implementation, organisational development, early careers apprenticeships and diversity & inclusion. She’s a passionate believer in removing barriers that prevent people accessing opportunities and has spent the last 6 years at Channel 4 helping the broadcaster to hire and retain talent in a highly competitive market while also maintaining their reputation as pioneers and promoters of DE&I.
Sam leads the talent team for UK and Ireland at the global creative production agency Media.Monks, part of the S4C Group. As Head of People at one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Sam has been responsible for helping the business scale at an incredible pace since it was established in 2021. She is committed to ensuring the business reaches its’ hiring goals in a highly competitive candidate market while also successfully retaining existing talent by encouraging job mobility, inclusivity and equity of opportunities.
Camilla has over 20 years’ experience working in media and marketing services businesses. As Global Head of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at Wavemaker, she is responsible for championing programmes that target the shortage of diverse talent in the industry and support high potential talent from under-represented groups. She is committed to driving change to the status quo and works closely with the People Team at Wavemaker to ensure DEI is embedded across the recruitment and progression process.
Jonathan co-founded Troi in 2017 and has over 15 years’ experience in talent acquisition and executive level recruitment. Troi have offices in London, NYC and Amsterdam and help businesses deliver on their hiring projects by providing a fully embedded, subscription based hiring solution running an end to end service. Their clients include BT, Holland & Barrett, Epic Games, Miro, Truelayer and Uncapped. Jonathan works closely with C-Suite teams and talent leaders globally, advising them on building effective recruitment strategies and processes.
